I am very much inspired by landscapes and their mood and feel. Being from the midwest, I felt called to showcase the beauty of our landscapes in my art in my AP portfolio. I have loved experimenting with sky scapes as well as landscapes and the emotion they invoke in us. During my time at Xavier I have taken almost all art classes they offer. From ceramics to graphic design, I have loved learning new mediums and techniques that help me grow as an artist. I have come to love studio art, primarily drawing and painting. As of right now, my preferred medium is oil pastel. The Xavier art department has helped me develop as an artist tremendously and I am so grateful for my art journey at Xavier.After graduation, I plan to attend High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. I will major in studio art and minor in entrepreneurship. I am excited to continue my art career and see where it takes me.
